Failure and 1/2 Success

I failed at working out yesterday.  I did not get home until about 10:30 and by then I was spent.  I did, however, have some success today.  I did half of the legs and back work out.  My legs were super sore and tired though, and about the half way point I was no longer able to stay standing.  I am going to try and finish it up tonight before bed.  I also want to get in Ab Ripper tonight because my stomach is my most worrisome area.

I am doing my best to eat well this holiday season.  My boy's parents are being helpful because they have started eating super healthy too.  They are with me on the high fructose corn syrup thing so I don't really have to worry when eating at their house.  My parents are also being pretty awesome because they don't eat much with it anymore either.  My biggest struggle is not eating meat that isn't environmentally friendly.  I find that when I am home I am basically a vegetarian.  I am okay with that. My brother is also vegetarian and so there is always lots of good food in the house that coincides with what I want.  Both of my families are also not big junk food eaters.  This is helpful because when I crave eating something terrible for me, it would usually involve having to go to the store to get it - and if you know me, you know I am too lazy to do that!

My family started raising chickens.  The boy's family has always had chickens.  But now I get to eat lots of home laid, from well fed chickens, eggs.  They are so delicious.  I mean, I always loved eggs, but these especially.  In fact, even though it is about two o'clock, I am going to make pancakes and eggs and eat that here in about two seconds!

On a side, completely unrelated note, one of my really great friends got engaged this Monday.  I am SUPER EXCITED for her! She is one of the ladies that makes law school, and life in general, better.  So congratulations to you *K; you deserve everything lovely and beautiful that the world has to offer you. :)
